Orlando
Orlando got its own commuter rail line in May 2014, when SunRail opened from DeBary in the north through downtown Orlando to Sand Lake Road in the south. In the ten years since, the line has grown at both ends. In July 2018 it was extended south to Kissimmee and Poinciana, and in August 2024 it reached DeLand in the north, bringing it to about 61 miles and 17 stations. Separately, Brightline intercity trains reached Orlando International Airport in September 2023, with direct service to Miami.
