Doha
Doha got its first metro line in May 2019, when the Red Line opened. The Gold and Green Lines followed in November and December of that year, along with the Red Line branch to Hamad International Airport, so all three lines were running within a single year. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup, every car was switched to standard class to carry the crowds of fans, and in normal service trains have three classes, standard, Goldclub, and a family class reserved for families and women traveling alone.
